Analysis
PHNI provides USAID's Bureau for Global Health and regional bureaus with information and services to better plan, manage, and evaluate programs, and to demonstrate the importance and impact of their health portfolios. Project staff has a wide range of capabilities in public health, epidemiology, health policy, and demography, including expertise in infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS, maternal health, child survival, family planning and reproductive health, nutrition and health systems and management.

PHNI offers the capability to conduct data analyses on a wide range of content including health, socioeconomic issues, and demography. More
- Policy Analysis
PHNI staff perform analyses based on internationally recognized health, demographic, and socioeconomic data. These analyses are developed into reports and presentations to inform and assist USAID. With this knowledge, USAID is equipped to make policy decisions based on impact data from its worldwide program investments.
- Performance Monitoring
The Project helps USAID with program monitoring to measure the impact of USAID health programs.
- Budgeting, Planning & Programming
Key financial and health indicator data from USAID programs are evaluated as part of USAID strategic planning and budgeting analyses and exercises. This information is used to assist in future Agency budget decisions. More
